VoteAfric’s Mission in Action
In a heartwarming act of kindness, VoteAfric Foundation recently extended its hand of compassion to the children residing at Remar Ghana Children’s Home in Patasi, Kumasi. The donation, made possible through a secure USSD platform (920*106#), is a shining example of community upliftment and care.
Remar Ghana is more than just a shelter—it’s a sanctuary. Located in Patasi, this branch houses teenage girls and reformed female addicts, providing them with education and vocational training in rasta/boutique work. The home is one of 12 in Ghana supporting orphans, street children, and vulnerable youths.
By focusing on these girls, Remar empowers some of society’s most overlooked members, helping them rebuild their lives through schooling and self-sufficiency.
VoteAfric delivered a variety of essential supplies to Remar Ghana’s Patasi home, including:
Rice & Cooking Oil: Vital for nutritious meals
Soap & Toiletries: Ensuring hygiene and dignity
Toiletries & Cleaning Items: Supporting daily care needs
VoteAfric Foundation’s act in Patasi is more than charity—it’s a message of hope. It tells these girls and their communities: “You matter. You belong.” And as more organizations, individuals, and platforms join in, Remar homes across Ghana can truly shine as beacons of care and opportunity.
Let’s keep the momentum going—because when we empower one child, we uplift an entire community.
